During the month, contributed to the crate/crate repository by implementing GeoPoint JSON Array Import Support, enabling direct import of geo_point values as JSON arrays from CSV files. This work involved enhancing the GeoPointType to parse and validate JSON array inputs, removing the need for manual data transformation prior to import. The approach streamlined geographic data onboarding and accelerated integration workflows by reducing friction in the import process. Java was used extensively for feature development and testing, while updates to documentation ensured users could easily adopt the new capability. The work demonstrated focused expertise in data types, Java, and robust testing practices.
