Worked on the Tencent/tdesign-common repository to address a persistent margin inconsistency in the Cascader component, focusing on improving UI reliability and maintainability. The solution involved updating the component’s LESS styles to set the margin property to zero, ensuring a uniform appearance across all sizes and states. This targeted CSS fix resolved a long-standing visual drift issue, resulting in more predictable visuals and simplifying theming across the design system. By reducing the need for repeated QA cycles, the work contributed to a more efficient development process. The approach demonstrated attention to detail in front-end development and effective use of CSS methodologies.
