Delivered Forum V2 integration with a global disablement setting, including dependency updates to fix index creation issues and extensive test changes and patching strategies to support the Forum V2 integration. Implemented precise enablement checks by correcting the type handling of the Forum V2 waffle flag to use a CourseKey object, ensuring reliable enablement across courses. These efforts reduce rollout risk, improve user experience with Forum V2, and reinforce platform stability through better testing and configuration management. Key outcomes include: smoother feature toggling at scale, more robust forum capabilities, and clearer traceability of changes to enablement logic and integration work. Technologies demonstrated include Python development, feature flags (Waffle), dependency management, and comprehensive testing approaches.

November 2024 — Openedx Platform performance summary: implemented a critical compatibility upgrade to the search subsystem to improve Meilisearch index creation stability and readiness for upcoming features.
