November 2024: Delivered reliability and configurability improvements for the Confluence integration in run-llama/llama_index. Implemented a new client_args parameter on ConfluenceReader and wired it to the underlying Confluence client to enable custom configuration (e.g., retries), reducing fetch failures and improving resilience in enterprise deployments. No major bugs fixed this month. This work strengthens our data ingestion pipeline with a more flexible, API-driven client configuration and lays the groundwork for additional client-level customizations. Technologies demonstrated include Python constructor extensibility, API client integration, and maintainable feature-oriented commits.
