The engineering effort centered on creating and documenting the Apache License v2.0 and drafting a foundational README.md in Markdown and Plain Text, outlining both the licensing terms and the project’s intended scope. No bug fixes were addressed, as the work was dedicated to repository scaffolding and onboarding processes. This groundwork aimed to streamline future feature development and facilitate contributor engagement by providing a well-structured, clearly licensed starting point for subsequent engineering efforts.
