During October 2025, Rem Perona enhanced the wp-media/wp-rocket repository by delivering localization updates and refining user messaging. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Rem updated the POT file, added new translation strings, and clarified status messages related to free plan limits. This work, implemented using PHP and XML, improved the plugin’s readiness for non-English users and reduced potential confusion around feature availability. Rem concentrated on stabilizing the translation workflow and aligning metadata, ensuring a smoother process for future localization cycles. The depth of these changes supports broader adoption and prepares the codebase for upcoming releases without introducing new bugs.
