Over a two-month period, contributed to the TryGhost/Koenig repository by implementing multi-provider GIF integration, introducing Klipy as the primary provider with Tenor as fallback to ensure reliable GIF functionality ahead of API changes. This work included provider-aware configuration, robust API key management, and provider-agnostic UI updates using JavaScript and React. Enhanced error handling through targeted unit tests and resolved a GIF search pagination bug to restore accurate results. Additionally, coordinated core updates across 17 Koenig packages, streamlining dependency management and release automation within a monorepo environment, which improved compatibility and simplified upgrade paths for downstream applications and editors.
