Worked on improving installer reliability and compatibility for the uyuni-project/sumaform repository, focusing on configuration management and system administration using SaltStack, SLS, and YAML. Addressed two key bugs by removing an obsolete container registry workaround from the mgradm installation process, simplifying deployment and aligning with upstream fixes. Extended the Avahi package repository workaround to support SLES 15.6, ensuring continued availability of required packages on newer SLES releases. These targeted changes reduced installation friction and enhanced robustness across supported platforms. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to maintaining stable deployments by adapting to evolving upstream and distribution-specific requirements.
