Worked on backend and DevOps improvements across the PsycheFoundation/psyche and NousResearch/hermes-agent repositories, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and deployment clarity. Enhanced the run-manager tool by adding a version flag and refining CI workflows using Rust and Shell scripting, which improved release traceability and stability. In the Hermes Agent, addressed authentication resilience and streamlined subscriber onboarding by refactoring token management and introducing managed tool gateways. Refactored modal execution flows in Python to a reusable base, improving scalability and testability. Emphasized robust configuration management, error handling, and feature flagging, resulting in more reliable deployments and a smoother user experience for both projects.
