Worked on deployment governance for the getsentry/taskbroker repository, focusing on improving the clarity and safety of multi-region rollouts. Delivered a targeted configuration update to GoCD, replacing the previous include_regions logic with an exclude_regions approach to define deployment scope more explicitly. This change reduced ambiguity and risk in default deployments, supporting clearer governance and more predictable outcomes across environments. Leveraged skills in CI/CD and DevOps, utilizing Jsonnet for configuration management. The work also included aligning documentation and processes to ensure deployment changes are auditable, laying a foundation for safer and more transparent regional deployments in complex CI/CD pipelines.
