Using Terraform and HCL, Rhilgenberg upgraded load balancer listener paths, ECS service configurations, and secrets management, introducing a read-only root filesystem to harden security for the confirmation-statement API. In the psc-extensions-web project, Rhilgenberg centralized Vault provider configuration by refactoring vault.tf to a symbolic link, reducing duplication and configuration drift. These changes streamlined environment provisioning and improved onboarding for new contributors. The work demonstrated depth in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, addressing technical debt and supporting scalable deployments.
