Worked on the openshift/release repository to deliver a TLS Scanner component designed to assess TLS configurations across OpenShift pods and CI artefacts, supporting TLS 1.3 readiness. The approach involved creating a dedicated scanning script, integrating it into the CI pipeline using Bash and YAML, and establishing a step registry for streamlined configuration. Governance improvements included updating OWNERS files and refining release workflows to align with OpenShift 4.22 requirements. Additional efforts focused on enhancing test reporting by experimenting with XML JUnit output for Spyglass. The work emphasized CI/CD, DevOps, and Kubernetes practices, with no major bugs reported during this period.
