During January 2025, Wangrch worked on deprecating the IoT 1Click Devices Service and IoT 1Click Projects within the aws/aws-sdk-ruby repository. Focusing on SDK management and service deprecation, Wangrch updated the changelogs in Markdown to clearly communicate the removal of these services from the SDK. This work reduced the API surface and future maintenance requirements, aligning with the broader roadmap to streamline the codebase. No critical bugs were reported during this period, allowing Wangrch to concentrate on release hygiene and ensuring a smooth migration path for customers affected by the deprecation of these Ruby-based IoT services.
