Worked on enhancing OpenWrt’s luci and packages repositories, focusing on ACME certificate management and user experience improvements. Delivered features such as clarifying renewal behavior in the luci-app-acme interface and refactoring the acme.sh service to use procd for robust process management and syslog-based logging. Implemented an abort command to safely terminate ongoing certificate operations, addressing edge cases to prevent lingering processes and improve operational reliability. Leveraged JavaScript, Shell scripting, and Makefile expertise, with an emphasis on DevOps, error handling, and system administration. These changes improved traceability, reduced operational risk, and streamlined package management workflows for OpenWrt users.
