During January 2025, contributed to the librenms/librenms repository by delivering a Nokia ISAM Port Discovery Enhancement focused on improving network device data collection. This work involved refactoring the port discovery logic to support ihub SNMP contexts, enabling the retrieval of uplink port information and enhancing the accuracy and completeness of Nokia ISAM device inventories. The approach included updating SNMP simulation data and restructuring discovery processes to accommodate additional SNMP contexts and data sources. Utilizing PHP, SNMP, and YAML configuration, this feature laid the groundwork for broader Nokia ISAM support and more reliable network monitoring within the existing platform.
