During April 2026, contributed to the MARS-UVA/mars-control-station repository by delivering three user-focused front end features using React, JavaScript, and CSS. Work centered on refining the timer interface, introducing audible feedback, toggleable timer durations, and keyboard shortcuts to streamline operator interactions. Enhanced safety controls by enabling emergency stop functionality via the Backspace key within the RightButtonPanel, allowing for rapid response in critical scenarios. Additionally, adjusted the left section’s layout width to improve visual balance and usability. All changes were implemented with clear commit traceability, reflecting a methodical approach to UI enhancement and operator workflow optimization without addressing bug fixes.
