Ritika Jindal delivered Odia language localization for the nammayatri/shared-kernel repository, focusing on backend development and internationalization using Haskell. She extended the existing Language data type and implemented both parsing and serialization logic to support Odia user interface and data interactions. This work established a reusable pattern for adding new languages, laying a solid foundation for future localization efforts. By enabling Odia support, Ritika improved accessibility for Odia-speaking users and facilitated broader regional engagement. Although the scope was limited to one feature and did not include bug fixes, the contribution demonstrated depth in backend internationalization and codebase extensibility.
