Worked on the Zipstack/unstract repository to address a critical issue in the release notification workflow, focusing on improving deployment reliability. Tackled a JSON parsing error that occurred when release notes contained double quotes, which previously led to notification failures. Applied a toJSON()-based escaping strategy within the workflow, ensuring that release body content was properly formatted as valid JSON. This solution leveraged skills in CI/CD automation, GitHub Actions, and YAML configuration. By prioritizing robustness over new feature development, the work enhanced the stability of the release pipeline and reduced operational risk, contributing to more dependable and predictable deployment notifications.
