Worked on enhancing data quality and search functionality for bank entities in the osmlab/name-suggestion-index repository. Focused on correcting the Hebrew name for Bank Yahav and introduced a matchNames field to better handle incorrect name variations, improving multilingual name matching and downstream suggestions. Utilized JSON for data management and applied localization skills to update the normalization workflow, ensuring more accurate matches across Hebrew and English variants. Collaborated effectively by co-authoring commits and maintaining clear attribution in commit logs. The work reduced misnaming-related errors in suggestions and improved the overall schema for name matching within the dataset during the project period.
