Rocio contributed to Expensify’s k2-extension and expensify-common repositories, focusing on targeted feature enhancements and core maintenance. In k2-extension, Rocio expanded the Hot Pick workflow by broadening issue search scope, introducing a new labeling option, and cleaning up deprecated labels, all implemented with React and JavaScript to streamline issue discoverability and labeling consistency. In expensify-common, Rocio upgraded the Micromatch dependency to the latest version, prioritizing security and long-term stability while maintaining backward compatibility. Throughout both projects, Rocio demonstrated strengths in code refactoring, dependency management, and full stack development, delivering well-scoped, maintainable improvements without introducing user-facing changes.
