Using React, JavaScript, and CSS, Lin upgraded the banner’s visual clarity by implementing a darker background, white text, and a larger font, while also restoring the bannerText functionality to ensure the banner accurately displays provided text and links. These changes addressed the need for clearer environment signaling, reducing confusion during QA and deployment. The work focused on front end development, emphasizing consistent rendering and improved accessibility through more descriptive link text. Over the month, Lin’s contributions were targeted, addressing a specific UI/UX challenge in staging.
