During December 2025, Rodaddy developed a Google Cloud Vertex AI provider for Claude models within the danielmiessler/Fabric repository. This work enabled Fabric to route AI requests through Vertex AI, allowing users to leverage Google Cloud billing, ADC-based authentication, and configurable project and region settings. Rodaddy implemented a Go-based client supporting both streaming and non-streaming requests, ensuring compatibility with Claude’s Sonnet, Opus, and Haiku variants. The integration completed the ai.Vendor interface for these models, providing scalable and cost-aware operations. The project demonstrated depth in AI model integration, API design, and cloud computing, addressing interoperability and operational flexibility for Fabric users.
December 2025 focused on expanding Fabric’s cloud interoperability by delivering a new Google Cloud Vertex AI provider for Claude models. This integration enables routing Fabric requests through Vertex AI, unlocking Google Cloud billing, ADC-based authentication, and region/project-level configuration. The addition supports streaming and non-streaming requests and completes the ai.Vendor interface for Claude models across supported Sonnet/Opus/Haiku variants, enabling scalable, cost-aware operations.
