Rodley Orosa contributed to the zextras/carbonio-design-system repository by implementing a commitlint dependency upgrade aimed at enforcing standardized commit messages. Focusing on code quality and release readiness, Rodley configured commitlint to align with conventional commit standards, which improved traceability and streamlined the release process. This work involved JavaScript and DevOps practices, particularly in dependency management and CI/CD integration. By establishing consistent commit message enforcement, Rodley reduced the risk of non-conforming commits and enabled more efficient code reviews. Although the scope was limited to one feature over the month, the changes laid a foundation for future improvements in repository governance.
