Worked on the cloudflare/realtimekit-ui repository to deliver Meeting AI integration within the RTK Sidebar, focusing on improving UI consistency and state management. The approach involved moving the Meeting AI component into the sidebar to centralize and streamline tab selection logic, aligning its behavior with existing tabs such as chat, polls, and participants. Refactored the selection state handling using React and TypeScript, which reduced edge-case inconsistencies and simplified the overall sidebar state model. This work enhanced the user experience by making tab interactions more predictable and maintainable, and laid a foundation for easier future feature development in the front end.
