Over a two-month period, contributed to the DEFRA/apha-vir repository by building end-to-end management features for sample and virus isolate data. Developed new services, repositories, and UI components using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core, enabling users to manage sample information and virus isolate characteristics, including breed selection by Latin names and relocation workflows. Integrated with existing lookup services and implemented comprehensive unit tests to ensure data integrity and regression safety. Addressed route parameter and authorization bugs, improved operational traceability, and enhanced CI/CD deployment with containerized delivery, supporting scalable and secure workflows for laboratory data management tasks.
