Worked on the louislam/uptime-kuma repository to deliver a feature that preserves Domain Expiry Notification settings when editing a monitor, addressing a common source of configuration errors. Utilized JavaScript and Vue.js to update both the domain validation logic and the user interface, improving error handling and streamlining the monitor configuration process. This enhancement ensures that alerting preferences remain consistent across edits, reducing the risk of missed notifications and minimizing support overhead. The work demonstrated a collaborative approach, with clear traceability in code changes and a focus on both backend and frontend development to align with business goals of reliability and user experience.
