Worked on enhancing IPC data streaming within the apache/incubator-devlake repository, focusing on improving resilience and scalability for high-volume data flows. Addressed buffering limitations by increasing the IPC scanner buffer size to 5MB, enabling the system to handle larger outputs and reducing the risk of data truncation during peak loads. Employed Go for backend development, ensuring that changes were clearly documented and linked to relevant issues for traceability and future maintenance. The work emphasized robust commit hygiene and targeted a specific bottleneck in the IPC module, resulting in more reliable and efficient data streaming for backend processes in the repository.
