Worked on the Cumulocity-IoT/cumulocity-examples repository to enhance build stability and ensure alignment with evolving project requirements. Focused on upgrading the build environment by updating the Maven Compiler Plugin to target Java 17, which addressed compatibility issues and reduced risks associated with Java-version discrepancies. This technical approach streamlined continuous integration processes and simplified configuration management for contributors. Leveraged expertise in Java, Maven, and XML to implement the change, resulting in more predictable builds and a clearer upgrade path for future Java releases. The work contributed to smoother onboarding and maintenance, although no new features were added during this period.
