Developed and delivered Flip Phone Keyguard Widget Support for the home-assistant/android repository, enabling widgets to be displayed directly on the keyguard screen of flip phones. This feature broadened device compatibility and improved accessibility, allowing users to interact with widgets without unlocking their devices. The work involved integrating with the Android widget framework, composing on-device UI elements, and ensuring seamless keyguard integration. XML was used for interface design, with a focus on enhancing user experience for flip-phone users. Code changes were prepared for quality assurance and continuous integration review, reflecting a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to Android development and UI/UX design.
