Ronak Chhaya contributed to the acmutd/website repository by addressing a navigation issue that affected the About page’s external links. Using TypeScript and front end development skills, Ronak identified that the inclusion of the https:// prefix in several URLs caused incorrect routing within the web application. By removing the prefix, Ronak restored proper navigation to resources such as the ACM portal, UTD Grades, GitHub, and the newsletter signup. This targeted bug fix improved the user experience by ensuring reliable access to key external resources. The work demonstrated attention to detail and a focused approach to maintaining web application usability and integrity.
