Ronan Garet enhanced the Buildbarn frontend within the DataDog/datadog-agent repository by migrating its routing to a new domain and implementing gRPCs-based TLS encryption. This work focused on strengthening endpoint security and improving routing maintainability, addressing both operational and security requirements. Using Bash scripting alongside Bazel and DevOps practices, Ronan ensured that all changes were fully traceable, linking code commits to relevant incidents and pull requests. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature delivered a more robust and scalable routing configuration, laying the groundwork for future improvements in frontend security and maintainability within the project.
