Worked on stabilizing browser version compatibility logic within the ai/baseline-browser-mapping repository, focusing on improving the accuracy of compatibility calculations. Addressed a critical bug by updating the widelyAvailableOnDate logic to derive the month from the targetDate rather than the current system month, which enhanced the reliability of versioning and downstream feature gating. Utilized TypeScript to implement and commit this fix, ensuring more accurate reporting of browser support windows. The work emphasized careful debugging and precise date handling, contributing to stronger code quality and ownership. No new features were added during this period, with efforts concentrated on robust bug resolution.
