Developed the OCI Functions Operator MVP for Oracle Kubernetes Engine within the oracle-devrel/technology-engineering repository, enabling Kubernetes-native management and invocation of OCI Functions through custom resource definitions. Leveraging Go and Kubernetes, the work introduced CRDs such as Function, FunctionJob, FunctionEvent, and FunctionEventTrigger to provide a declarative workflow for function orchestration on OKE. The project focused on integrating OCI Functions with Kubernetes using the Operator pattern, streamlining deployment and management processes. Additionally, documentation was refined using Markdown to improve onboarding and reduce resource overhead, establishing a foundation for scalable, self-service function orchestration in cloud-native environments.
June 2026: Delivered the OCI Functions Operator MVP for Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) leveraging CRDs (Function, FunctionJob, FunctionEvent, FunctionEventTrigger) to enable Kubernetes-native management and invocation of OCI Functions. Also cleaned up MVP documentation to streamline onboarding and reduce resource overhead. The initiative lays the groundwork for scalable, self-service function orchestration on OKE and strengthens OCI-Kubernetes integration.
