Ronzano enhanced the rommapp/romm repository by implementing an OpenBOR metadata entry for the screensaver platform list, expanding the platform’s metadata coverage and improving screenscraper workflow reliability. Using Python and backend development skills, Ronzano focused on refining metadata handling to support better data quality and platform compatibility for screensaver integrations. The technical approach involved updating the metadata structure to include OpenBOR, which enables more robust automation and discovery processes. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work established clear traceability through explicit commit references, supporting future audits and onboarding of additional platforms. The contribution was focused and well-scoped.
