Worked on stabilizing the registration CAPTCHA system for the go-gitea/gitea repository following a migration to Vite, focusing on restoring a seamless signup experience. Addressed a critical bug by adapting mCaptcha widget initialization to handle both ESM and CJS module formats in JavaScript, while ensuring backend integrity by preventing mutation of read-only input fields. Renamed form inputs to align frontend submissions with backend requirements and completed thorough end-to-end validation of the signup flow using Vite-based tooling. Collaborated with other contributors on cross-repository fixes, demonstrating proficiency in Go and JavaScript across both backend and frontend development environments.
