Worked on the unicode-org/cldr repository to enhance documentation around locale identifier stability, focusing on the handling of Iran’s subdivision codes. Developed a feature that introduced a 4-character suffix mechanism, ensuring that locale identifiers remain stable even when underlying ISO 3166-2 codes change. This approach clarified the rationale and process for maintaining identifier consistency, supporting more reliable localization pipelines across downstream systems. The work was delivered entirely in Markdown, leveraging strong documentation and technical writing skills to align with internationalization standards. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on specification updates and long-term maintainability.
