Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to address onboarding reliability issues for DeepSeek V4 models deployed via Microsoft Foundry. Delivered a targeted bug fix by transitioning the onboarding process from the openai-completions API to the openai-responses API, ensuring compatibility with Foundry-hosted V4 models. Introduced a dedicated 'deepseek-v4' prefix and a default flag to scope the new onboarding flow exclusively to V4 models, maintaining legacy support for earlier versions. Focused on API development and testing using TypeScript, the work improved onboarding success rates and prevented provider schema and payload rejections, enhancing deployment reliability for Pro and Flash environments.
