Worked on the brain-tec/odoo repository to address a key issue affecting product expiry indicators in the user interface. Focused on refining the logic so that red lines are displayed only for expired products, this change reduced visual clutter and improved the accuracy of expiry status for stock planning. Utilized Python and Odoo’s framework to implement the fix, ensuring that data reliability and user trust were enhanced. Demonstrated careful debugging and adherence to pull request protocols, delivering a targeted update with clear commit messaging. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on stabilizing existing UI functionality.
