Roya worked on expanding DNS management for the hackclub/dns repository by provisioning two new Vercel-hosted subdomains, baguette.dino.icu and betterwork-ai.dino.icu. She updated the dino.icu.yaml configuration file using YAML to add CNAME records that point to cname.vercel-dns.com, enabling seamless hosting of these subdomains on Vercel. This approach streamlined the deployment process for new applications, reduced manual DNS steps, and improved branding consistency. Roya’s work demonstrated practical skills in DNS configuration, YAML-based infrastructure management, and Vercel integration. The project’s scope was focused, delivering a targeted feature that enhanced the repository’s DNS footprint without introducing new bugs.
