During November 2024, Rui Shen enhanced the KDKHD/kibana repository by implementing a targeted front-end feature for the Dashboard Add to Library Panel. He improved the Saved Object Finder by displaying saved object descriptions beneath their titles, providing users with richer context and streamlining the process of locating relevant objects within dashboards. This UI enhancement was developed using React and TypeScript, with careful attention to integrating seamlessly into existing data discovery workflows. The work was delivered as a single, well-documented commit, ensuring clear traceability for auditing and review. No bugs were addressed during this period, reflecting a focused feature delivery.
