Worked on enhancing document import fidelity for the outline/outline repository, focusing on improving the user experience for media-heavy documents. Developed a feature in TypeScript that introduced structural handling for paragraphs containing only images or media by appending a trailing node, ensuring the preservation of document structure during import. This approach reduced the need for manual post-import edits and stabilized workflows involving rich media content. The solution addressed specific issues with adding text beneath images, thereby improving content fidelity across imports. Leveraged front end development skills and TypeScript to deliver a targeted improvement that streamlined document handling for complex media scenarios.
