He used React and TypeScript to develop a feature that stores user-selected themes in localStorage, ensuring preferences are maintained across sessions and page reloads. This approach addressed the challenge of client-side persistence, reducing friction for users who expect their UI settings to remain stable. Sumanth’s work demonstrated proficiency in frontend state management and commit traceability, resulting in improved maintainability and a smoother theming workflow for both users and future contributors to the project.
