Worked on stabilizing the edge image build process for RHEL 9 within the major/images repository, focusing on system configuration and Go development. Addressed a critical build blocker by excluding the bootupd package from the Edge-9.6 image assembly, ensuring the build could complete successfully despite current limitations in Edge readiness. Delivered this fix as a single, auditable commit, providing clear traceability for future maintenance and rollback if needed. The approach improved build reliability and enhanced CI feedback by removing a known issue, demonstrating careful attention to reproducibility and maintainability in a complex system-level Go codebase for enterprise Linux images.
