Developed and delivered the Speech-to-Text: Source Tags Filtering feature for the opencast/opencast repository, enabling selective processing of media tracks within speech-to-text workflows. This work involved updating the Java-based workflow operation handler to support filtering tracks by source-tags, allowing for more targeted and efficient media processing. Documentation was revised to clearly describe the new source-tags parameter and its integration into existing workflows. By focusing on backend development and workflow management, the implementation reduced compute costs and improved control over speech-to-text pipelines. The approach demonstrated a strong understanding of media processing and effective use of Java and Markdown for both code and documentation.
