During the month, Pavani focused on modernizing configuration management for the kewinseb/Milkstore repository by removing the appsettings.json file and shifting toward an environment-based configuration strategy. This approach externalized sensitive settings, reducing the risk of exposing secrets in source control and simplifying deployment processes. Pavani’s work leveraged C# and .NET Core, aligning the project with best practices for security and compliance while preparing the codebase for future CI/CD integration. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, the feature delivered improved deployment reproducibility and agility for multi-environment provisioning, demonstrating a thoughtful and foundational update to the project’s infrastructure.
