Working primarily in C and C++, he refactored the media player to better manage focus transitions, especially during paused states, which improved playback stability and reduced audio glitches. His work synchronized media framework changes and introduced a new workflow for recorded audio, laying groundwork for future audio features. Leveraging skills in Audio Management, Embedded Systems, and Media Frameworks, Vivek delivered a well-integrated feature that improved runtime stability without introducing regressions in existing functionality.
