Worked on the discourse/discourse_docker repository to enhance infrastructure stability and security by upgrading the default Docker template base image to the latest stable release. Focused on aligning the deployment environment with current security standards, the work included updating the ImageMagick dependency in the installation script to version 7.1.2-3, addressing both performance and compatibility. Leveraged DevOps practices, Docker, and Shell scripting to ensure seamless integration of these changes, reducing maintenance overhead and risk in production deployments. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a focus on proactive system administration and preventative improvements rather than reactive fixes.
