Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to enhance the OpenResponses endpoint by enabling support for image-only inputs, aligning its behavior with the existing chat completions endpoint. Focused on backend and API development using TypeScript, the work included forwarding image inputs to the agent and updating gateway guard logic to handle new input types and prevent downstream errors. Added regression tests to validate both image-only and empty input scenarios, ensuring reliable 200 and 400 responses and reducing the risk of future regressions. Contributed to repository health and CI stability through coordinated commits and collaborative efforts, emphasizing robust testing and maintainability.
