Worked on the sparcs-kaist/taxi-back repository to deliver a location-aware room search feature, focusing on backend development and refactoring using TypeScript. The approach involved updating data models and interfaces to incorporate latitude and longitude, ensuring that room search operations could accurately map and utilize geo-coordinates. By enhancing the PopulatedRoom and FormattedLocation interfaces, the work improved type safety and laid a foundation for future geo-enabled features. The changes prioritized business value by increasing search accuracy and reliability, supporting better user experiences, and enabling scalable data flows. No major bugs were addressed, as efforts centered on robust feature delivery and maintainability.
