Developed automated RBAC permissions validation tests for the fecgov/fecfile-web-api repository, focusing on verifying correct enforcement of role-based access control across production-like scenarios such as C99999997. Leveraging Python and backend development skills, the work expanded automated test coverage to detect permission regressions and misconfigurations early in the release cycle. The approach centered on scenario-based validation and CI-ready scripting, ensuring that access control logic was thoroughly exercised before deployment. By enhancing the security posture and reliability of the API, these tests enabled faster remediation of issues and increased confidence in the system’s permission handling without introducing new bugs during the period.
